Jindal - Breaking His Word
CB Forgotston shows that Jindal’s failure to veto this pay raise is a clear violation of a campaign promise - and has the campaign literature to prove it. So Jindal would evidently rather keep his word to the legislature than he would to the voters who put him in office.
So much for the Jindal Revolution - it’s obviously going to be more politics as usual.

THANK YOU WHOEVER KEPT THIS BROCHURE! We really appreciate it!! You are the best.
What do you have to say NOW, BOBBY???
Still going to let them BLACKMAIL YOU??
Did Jindal supporters really do a flyer portraying him as Che Guevara? A Maoist who was only saved from historical obscurity due to having a cool looking photograph taken of him thus? A photograph that multi-national corporations put on T-shirts made by sweat shop workers in third world countries?
Then again, Che helped overthrow the corrupt Batista dictatorship only to replace it with the corrupt Castro dictatorship? Pans out. Che ousted one thug and put another thug in his place. Louisiana got change this year the same way Cuba did back in 1960.
“…a false philosophy that that promises freedom, security, and greater opportunity to all mankind. Misled by this philosophy many peoples have sacrificed their liberties only to find to their sorrow that deciet and mockery. Poverty and tyranny are their rewards.”
Harry Truman way as well have been talking about the Jindal campaign when he gave his speech on communism.
That Jindal graphic made the rounds as a joke on conservative blogs, mocking the Che-ists , after Jindal was elected. Somebody later added the question mark as it became clear that Jindal was not going to bring the sweeping change his supporters expected based on his campaign.
They didn’t mention the bill, but I expect that it was HB339. Senator G. added on an amendment to resurrect a bill of his that had previously been defeated in House Committee.
